The Green Bay Packers are interested in free-agent wide receiver Cordarrelle Patterson, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network.

Patterson is coming off of a 2018 campaign with the New England Patriots in which he hauled in 21 receptions for 247 yards and three touchdowns while also carrying the ball 42 times for 228 yards and a score. In addition, he scored a kick return touchdown.

The 27-year-old, who played his collegiate football at the University of Tennessee, was originally selected by the Minnesota Vikings in the first round (29th pick overall) of the 2013 NFL Draft.

His versatility was immediately on display during his rookie campaign when he caught 45 passes for 469 yards and four touchdowns and accumulated 158 rushing yards and three scores on the ground. Plus, he registered a pair of kick return touchdowns, earning a Pro Bowl selection and First-Team All-Pro honors for his efforts.

Patterson spent the first four years of his career with the Vikings, making a couple of Pro Bowl and notching two First-Team All-Pro selections. His second trip to Honolulu and second All-Pro selection came in 2016, when he snared 52 balls for 453 yards and a couple of scores while returning another kick for a touchdown.
