According to a recent report from Tony Pauline of Draft Analyst, the Green Bay Packers could soon be in the market for a defensive back. With the 2019 NFL Draft under one month away, the Packers are apparently interested in adding former Virginia Cavaliers cornerback Tim Harris.

The Packers will try to replace a slew of players this offseason. Addressing the team's need at defensive back will certainly be at the top of the list next month.

“Cornerback Tim Harris, who performed well during Shrine Game practices, put up some incredible testing marks,” writes Pauline. “Harris measured 6016 and 197 pounds and hit 39 inches in the vertical and 11-foot-7 in the broad. His times in the 40 ranged from the high 4.3s to the low 4.4s. Harris met one-on-one with eight teams including the Carolina Panthers, Green Bay Packers, San Francisco 49ers and Los Angeles Chargers.”

Of course, the Packers can use all the help they can get. Green Bay missed the postseason in the 2018 campaign. With both the Chicago Bears, who won the NFC North Division last season, and the Minnesota Vikings currently on the upswing, the Packers will need to make a statement in late April in Nashville if the team wants to compete in 2019. While it certainly isn't easy to turn things around in a hurry in the NFL, having veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers under center definitely helps the cause.
