Over the past couple of seasons, the Green Bay Packers fans haven't had much to cheer for. Rookie head coach, Matt LaFleur is hoping to restore the home-field advantage that has taken place at Lambeau Field in prior seasons.

The Packers got their first chance to get their fans going at home against the Houston Texans on Thursday night. In hopes to provide some excitement, the team sounded off a foghorn to try to create some buzz in the crowd.

Unfortunately, the foghorn received mixed reviews with fans after it sounded similar to the Minnesota Vikings Gjallarhorn. LaFleur is making it known that he is open for business for any ideas from fans.

“I just want anything that is going to get fans out of their seat and make (Lambeau Field) a true advantage,” LaFleur said per Packers Wire. “I don’t care what it is. If you’ve got an idea, we’ll take it.”

The Packers have failed to make the playoffs since 2016, with the team going 13-18-1 in the past two seasons. As a result, the fans in Green Bay have grown restless with their franchise that is usually accompanied with winning.

Despite the recent struggles, Aaron Rodgers has always fared better when he is playing in the comforts of Lambeau Field. In his 82 games at home, Rodgers is 64-17-1 compared to his 39-44 record on the road.

In any major sport, winning cures everything. LaFleur is hoping that he can muster up some wins for the Packers in his first season to get the fans in Green Bay back on their feet.
