The Green Bay Packers have their focus on defeating the Minnesota Vikings on Monday night but it's hard not to realize that there's a chance they could still get home-field advantage throughout the entire playoffs. Following Sunday's slate of games, the odds have been revealed for Green Bay winning the No. 1 seed in the NFC via Seth Walder.

The Packers enter Monday night's showdown with the Vikings with an 11-3 record. On the other hand, Minnesota is only one game behind them at 10-4.

Therefore, Green Bay first needs to take of business within their division before looking ahead to the postseason. With the Seattle Seahawks losing on Sunday, there's still a chance that the Packers could secure a first-round bye.

Getting home-field advantage in the playoffs would be extremely beneficial for the Packers. This season alone, the Packers are 6-1 at home and the fans at Lambeau Field always make it tough on opposing teams on the road.

The three teams standing in Green Bay's way for the No. 1 seed is the San Francisco 49ers, New Orleans Saints, and the Seahawks. Of course, the 49ers and Seahawks play one another next Sunday night to determine who wins the NFC West division.

As for the Saints, they will square off against the Carolina Panthers to finish the 2019 season. Provided that, the Packers shouldn't expect the Saints to help them in any fashion against a team who has lost seven games in a row.

Regardless of how the other teams finish, the Packers just need to worry about themselves first. After that, they can begin to hope that one (or both) of the teams ahead of them slips up and allows them to sneak into the top spot in the NFC.
