Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers entered the first round of the NFL Draft with a massive need at wide receiver. The round ended and they still have one.

After honoring Davante Adams' trade request and letting Marquez Valdes-Scantling get away in free agency, the Packers have to find a suitable top wideout. On a night where several teams made moves to bolster their receiver rooms, Green Bay did not.

NFL Network's Ian Rapoport said on the Pat McAfee Show that Rodgers had his eyes on Treylon Burks, who was drafted by the Tennessee Titans four spots before the Packers' first pick.

Burks, a speedy wideout from Arkansas, could have been a strong fit in Green Bay. Tennessee, though, swooped in to trade for the 18th overall pick and drafted him after trading A.J. Brown. Green Bay selected two Georgia products with their picks, adding linebacker Quay Walker with the 22nd pick and defensive lineman Devonte Wyatt with the 28th pick.

There are still plenty of solid options at wide receiver — Skyy Moore, George Pickens, John Metchie III and Christian Watson are among the best — for the Packers to add later in the NFL Draft. They have two second-round picks (numbers 53 and 59) and a third-round pick (number 92), so getting at least one wideout is very possible.

Getting tight end Robert Tonyan back from his ACL tear will also help the Packers' air game. An Aaron Rodgers-Treylon Burks tandem would have been strong but now it is not an option. Still, there are plenty of other young wideouts Green Bay can get.
