In what has become a common refrain throughout the start of the season, Green Bay quarterback Aaron Rodgers tossed a dime to wide receiver Davante Adams Thursday night, giving the Packers an early lead over the 49ers.

Taking 49ers' cornerback Emmanuel Mosley deep on a single coverage play by the defense, Adams  leapt and reeled in the pass by Rodgers, dragging his right foot into the end zone, while keeping his elbow tucked tight into his body in staying in-bounds, and securing the score for the Packers.

His eighth touchdown reception on the year, the first half of the season saw the all-pro Packers wideout average over 8 yards per catch, while maintaining a scoring pace that would exceed his career record of 13 touchdowns set in 2018.

As for Rodgers, the score was his 21st of the season, as he looks to pace the Packers to a 6-2 start, and maintain their hold on the top of the NFC North.
