Aaron Rodgers made a bit of history on Sunday night as the Green Bay Packers took on the Chicago Bears in their Week 12 matchup. The Packers superstar quarterback threw a trademark long-distance, pinpoint pass to tight end Robert Tonyan for a Green Bay touchdown.
Rodgers threw his fourth TD pass of the evening at the midway point of the third period. Here's a look at the awesome play, courtesy of NFL on Twitter:

This wasn't just another TD pass for Rodgers, though, as it allowed him to surpass the 50,000-yard mark in career passing yards. The 36-year-old is just the 11th player in the history of the sport to have achieved this awe-inspiring personal feat:

Aaron Rodgers is without a doubt one of the best quarterbacks in NFL history, and this recent achievement only serves as testament to this fact. The two-time Most Valuable Player winner has been playing some inspired football of late, and his historic performance against the Bears serves as another feather on his cap. A huge congratulations is in order for Rodgers here.
The Packers entered Sunday's matchup against Chicago looking to bounce back from their tough loss against the Indianapolis Colts in Week 11. Rodgers and Co. went up against a formidable Colts defense, and it resulted in a 34-31 win for Indianapolis in overtime. The Packers could have actually emerged victorious in that matchup had it not been for a key fumble from Marquez Valdes-Scantling in OT.
The Packers get the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 13, as they look to solidify their lead atop the NFC North standings.
