Carolina Panthers quarterback Cam Newton has never been afraid about being a little “different” in the terms of his fashion and at times has worn some pretty unique outfits. This past week, Newton has taken some of that fashion sense to Paris to join in on Fashion Week, according to the Panthers team website.

On Tuesday through Thursday, Newton was present at the Heron Preston “Concrete Jungle” show, Under Cover show, Off-White “Plastic” show, Y/Project show at the Oratoire du Louvre, and ended with the Louis Vuitton show.

Newton seems to be spending his downtime heading into training camp doing something he really enjoys, sporting fashion with others from all around the world who love the same thing.

This is a good break for Newton, who has spent most of the offseason rehabbing his shoulder and working on his new throwing motion. The last week of mandatory mini-camp, players like Greg Olson noticed the change in Newton and thinks he is finally feeling better and 100 percent.

“You know when he feels good and when he doesn’t. It’s very clear,” said tight end Greg Olsen of Newton during minicamp via 247 Sports. “He wears his emotions on his sleeve, so to speak.”

Panthers coach Ron Rivera is happy with what he has seen out of Newton, but knows they need to continue to use the program they have set in place for him.

“(The Panthers' trainers will) just continue to progress through their program that they’ve set up,” said Rivera. “They obviously have a plan for him, how he’s gonna work, who he’s gonna work with. And they’ll do like they’ve done in the past.”
