Who would imagine that the reserved character of New England Patriots head coach Bill Belichick would star in a commercial? Fast-food chain Subway recently made it possible to show the humorous side of the six-time Super Bowl champion coach in front of the public.

Independent NFL reporter Dov Kleiman shared the said commercial on Twitter:

Subway has recently become an official sponsor of the NFL. This allows the company to have access to exclusive marketing rights and activation opportunities at key NFL events and experiences.

Bill Belichick is only the first of many NFL personalities that will likely star in advertisements and promotions for the fast-food chain. The long-term partnership between Subway and the NFL kicks off this fall with more ad campaigns to be released in the future.

A little fun won't hurt Belichick, especially with the 2020 season nearing its commencement in over two weeks. On the field, the Patriots are looking to switch gears as they are heading to face a tall task in the upcoming season.

The team was recently dealt with a huge blow with eight-player opt-outs, the most in the league. Belichick will also have to name the quarterback who will be heading the team's offense in the upcoming season.

Despite the odds, the Patriots are still looking to make the most out of everyone at their disposal and put another winning season in the books. Entering the organization's 60th season in the league, Belichick and the rest of the Patriots are aiming to defend their AFC East title for the 12th-straight year.
