The New England Patriots were among the teams to display a new set of uniforms for the upcoming season. Shortly after New England unveiled their new threads, Stephon Gilmore reacted to the new uniforms on Instagram.

The new uniforms for the Patriots are part of their slight rebranding for the 2020 season and beyond. While the new uniforms are something they haven't worn before, they resemble the Color Rush uniforms they've worn in recent seasons. Altogether, the only noticeable difference is the red and blue stripe on the shoulders.

Amid New England's uniform alterations, the Patriots have also undergone quite a few changes on the roster. First and foremost, Tom Brady departed in free agency after 20 seasons with the storied organization. For the first time since the early 2000s, the Patriots have to make a decision on the quarterback position.

As for the defensive side of the ball, Jamie Collins, Kyle Van Noy, and Danny Shelton all signed with other teams in free agency. At the least, Gilmore will continue to have Devin McCourty alongside him in the secondary after New England re-signed him this offseason.

For Gilmore, he's evolved into arguably the best cornerback in the NFL in recent seasons. Just this past season, he won the NFL's Defensive Player of the Year, posting six interceptions and 20 pass breakups.

The new uniforms for the Patriots appear to symbolize a fresh start with them beginning life after Brady. In all of the chaos that's ensued this offseason, Gilmore still provides assurance on New England's new-look team.
