New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is arguably the greatest of all-time. He has consistently been one of the best players in the NFL every season for well over a decade. He's also the most marketable player in the NFL.

According to Mike Florio of ProFootballTalk.com, a Sports Business Journal poll had Tom Brady topping the list of most marketable players in the NFL.

This isn't surprising at all. Although he's not the “hot new player on the market,” Brady has longevity.

Yes, it wouldn't be surprising to see a young and rising star on the list. For example, number two on the list is Patrick Mahomes, followed by Odell Beckham Jr. and Baker Mayfield. Two of those are rising superstar quarterbacks and Beckham Jr. is still in the earlier portions of his career.

But there's something different about the Patriots' star.

For one thing, Brady has been around and dominant for so long that everyone knows his name. Even people that haven't watch a down of football know who he is and could probably recognize him on the street.

It also helps that Brady's spent his entire career playing in one of the biggest markets in the world. Obviously, playing in a city such as New York, Los Angeles, Boston, and so on, will give someone more exposure.

At 42, Tom Brady is still dominating the NFL on the field. He's also dominating the league when it comes to marketability. The New England Patriots struck gold when they drafted him in every way imaginable. If they even needed another reason as to why they should want to hold onto him for as long as possible, here's one.
