New England Patriots wide receiver Julian Edelman has never been one to shy away from contact. He affirmed that notion in prime time against the Baltimore Ravens.

Edelman went airborne after hauling in a 13-yard pass for the first down, via The Checkdown:

Although Edelman was able to keep the drive alive, the Patriots were ultimately forced to punt. Regardless, there was certainly no shortage of effort on his part.

It is no secret that Edelman has been playing the 2019 NFL season at less than 100 percent, however, it is encouraging to see that he is still more than willing to put his body on the line when New England needs him too.

The Ravens managed to jump out to a 17-0 lead before allowing the Patriots back into the game with multiple costly mistakes. The onus will now fall on Julian Edelman and the rest of the offense to try and flip the script by carrying the defense for a change.
