With L.A. Clippers‘ forward Blake Griffin being rested against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday, Paul Pierce got the start as the team decided to play small.

Up by 10 with only a minute left in the second quarter, Chris Paul made a behind-the-back pass to a streaking Pierce who was wide open. It was a beautifully executed play until the The Truth missed the dunk.

Paul then playfully performed a fake CPR on his veteran teammate to help him get up.

At 39-years-old, Pierce has stayed in great shape and has served as the veteran mentor and locker room leader for the Clippers. However, he may wish to forget about this play soon especially if the Clippers lose by two points or less.

For what its worth, it was certainly fun watching the two enjoying themselves on the court and sharing a hilarious moment together.
