New Orleans Pelicans shooting guard JJ Redick isn't happy that point guard Jrue Holiday didn't make the first or second All-Defensive team.

Redick took to Twitter to voice his frustrations, pointing out how the eye test and players' praise for Holiday should hold more weight in the voting process.

The players on the Pelicans love Jrue Holiday, who is as humble as they come.

New Orleans guard Lonzo Ball has said countless times he believes Holiday is the most underrated player in the NBA and one would surmise that JJ Redick probably agrees with Ball.

Holiday has made an All-Defensive team twice in his NBA career. He famously shut down Portland Trail Blazers superstar point guard Damian Lillard in the first round of the 2018 playoffs when the Pelicans and Blazers played each other.

New Orleans swept Portland and Holiday limited Lillard to just 18.5 points per game on 35.2 percent shooting from the field during the series.

In 2019-20, Holiday averaged 19.1 points, 4.8 rebounds, 6.7 assists and 1.6 steals per game. The 30-year-old also shot 45.5 percent from the field, 35.3 percent from beyond the arc and 70.9 percent from the free-throw line.

Despite Holiday's stellar play, though, the Pelicans missed the playoffs for the second straight season.

The Pelicans fired head coach Alvin Gentry after their Disney games ended, so it will be interesting to see who Holiday and Redick are playing for next season. Thus far, New Orleans has been linked to Tyronn Lue.
