The New Orleans Pelicans will play a franchise-record 30 national TV games in 2019-20.

The Pelicans selected Duke star Zion Williamson with the No. 1 overall pick in this year's draft, so there's a lot of intrigue in New Orleans:

The Pelicans will play 11 games on ESPN, 10 games on NBA TV, seven games on TNT and two games on ABC.

There's a lot of hype in New Orleans right now. With Williamson in the fold next to Jrue Holiday, Lonzo Ball, Josh Hart and Brandon Ingram, the Pelicans figure to be a fun team to watch next season.

The Pelicans acquired Derrick Favors from the Utah Jazz this offseason and signed JJ Redick in free agency. Some believe New Orleans can make the playoffs next season.

All eyes are going to be on Williamson, who is receiving similar hype to the attention LeBron James got back in 2003 when he was a rookie with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Williamson averaged 22.6 points, 8.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game at Duke while shooting 68.0 percent from the field, 33.8 percent from beyond the arc and 64.0 percent from the free-throw line.

The Pelicans rebounded nicely after superstar big man Anthony Davis requested his trade. David Griffin did a great job of getting a tremendous haul from the Los Angeles Lakers for Davis and building a strong team around Holiday and Williamson.
