By now, every NBA fan knows that New Orleans Pelicans rookie Zion Williamson has rocket fuel on his shoes. Still, it's always quite a marvel to behold each time. The 19-year-old supreme athlete once again made a lot of jaws drop on Friday, turning a bad pass into yet another dunk highlight.

In the Pels' home game versus the Miami Heat at Smoothie King Center on Friday, Williamson caught a high-arching lob pass from Jrue Holiday and threw down a two-handed hammer right over the helpless Heat defense.

Replays showed that Holiday actually botched the pass, as it inadvertently hit the backboard before landing on Zion's hands. Most NBA players would missed the timing of that lob, but it did not matter to the springy rookie who made up for it with his ridiculous hang time.

Zion Williamson, meanwhile, was a big factor in NOLA's 110-104 upset against the Heat. Williamson finished with 17 points on an efficient 7-for-9 shooting from the field while scattering six boards, two assists, two blocks, and one steal.

The Pelicans improved to 27-36 and stayed in the running for the eighth and final playoff slot in the West.
