During Thursday night's game against the Dallas Mavericks, Detroit Pistons teammates Blake Griffin and Reggie Jackson ran an offensive set that would make Jackie Moon proud.

Moon, also known as Will Ferrell in real life, is known for his on-court shenanigans, and it seems Griffin and Jackson took a page right out of his fictional playbook.

Though this play is hilarious, Griffin had a solid night. The former No. 1 overall pick logged 39 minutes against the Mavs, scoring 24 points on 8-of-26 shooting from the field (2-of-7 from beyond the arc), 10 rebounds, six assists and one steal. Jackson added 17 points, nine assists, seven rebounds and two steals.

All in all, Griffin finished the month of January with 445 points, which is the highest-scoring month in team history. According to ESPN, the previous record was held by Isiah Thomas, who had 442 points in March 1983.

Though his team won, Griffin wasn't particularly pleased with how it was earned:

“We talked after the game about how we won the game, but we can't be happy about that performance,” Griffin told ESPN. “We have to work tomorrow like we lost this game, because we didn't play well. We have to fix this ourselves. No one else is going to provide us with energy.”

The Pistons (22-28 and 3rd in the Central Division standings) will be back in action on Saturday, when they'll serve as hosts to the L.A. Clippers. Tip-off inside Little Caesars Arena is set for 5:00 p.m. ET.
