Detroit Pistons shooting guard Luke Kennard isn't worried about his name being mentioned in trade rumors.

The Pistons and Phoenix Suns are reportedly discussing a trade which would send Kennard to the Suns. The lefty, who is still out with tendinitis in both knees, says hearing his name in the rumors on Monday night wasn’t a big shock:

“It’s that time of the year. You’re going to see rumors and it’s hard not to see them these days. It’s that time of the year; things come out,” Luke Kennard said after Wednesday’s shootaround, via Rod Beard of The Detroit News.

“If your name comes out, it means you’re worth some value. I’m not too worried about it and I haven’t gotten into it that much, really. I’m a Piston right now and that’s what I’m focused on. I’m working to get back healthy and playing.”

Kennard has appeared in 28 games for the Pistons this season. He's averaging 15.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting 44.2 percent from the field, 39.9 percent from beyond the arc and 89.3 percent from the free-throw line.

Kennard, 23, has been sidelined since Dec. 21. It's unclear when he'll be cleared to play again, or if he'll play for the Pistons again.

The Pistons are 18-34 on the season. They are in 11th place in the East.
