Blake Griffin has built himself as a man with talent in two seemingly opposite industries. And during this offseason, he put his comedic chops to the test as he drove around Montreal, Canada. Red Bull released a video on their YouTube channel of the Detroit Pistons star posing as a cab driver to take unsuspecting people in the city to their destinations.

Griffin has proven to the world that he is a funny guy. And the video only adds up to his growing reputation as a tall comic:

Griffin was light and engaging to his passengers, completely opposite of his serious demeanor whenever is suited up for the Pistons. Some fans didn't recognize him at all while others were completely shocked when they figure out that a star player is driving them around.

The video was done in part to promote his upcoming show in the city. However, it can also be taken as Griffin's attempts to look amicable and friendly to attract teammates to play with.

He didn't have the greatest summer compared to the others. In a summer where big moves happened day after day, Griffin and the Pistons had nothing but radio silence.

Griffin tried to recruit teammates to come to Motor City, but none of them signed with them. Moreover, Andre Drummond is a lock for free agency next offseason. The team will have to make a decision: either fight tooth and nail for him or trade him away before the trade deadline in February.

With the way things have gone for Griffin's career, it's important that he keeps himself positive. It's a good thing that he is a really funny guy.
