The NBA is the premier basketball sports league in the world. Currently, the NBA is ushering in one of the best eras in its existence, thanks to commissioner Adam Silver. The league is as progressive as it has ever been, making changes to league-old procedures such as the All-Star Game.

Talented stars such as Stephen Curry,  LeBron James, and Kevin Durant have given fans plenty of exciting basketball games in recent years, and young players such as Joel Embiid and Donovan Michell are giving everyone much to look forward to.

Still, what do you believe will happen in the next five years in the NBA? The answer is widely debatable. By that time, the mature superstars in the league will be entering retirement age, while the rookies now take their place.

There may also be some league-wide changes in terms of expansion in the next few years as well. Reddit user HakeemTheDreamShake had some outrageous guesses as to what he believes the league will be like in the next five years.

1) Mexico City has a team or is close to getting a team.

2) Kobe is an assistant coach or head coach for a team.

3) Kevin Durant is on the Wizards

Interesting. There have been rumors that the NBA will look to expand to Mexico City, especially since the league expanded to Toronto some years back. Therefore, that guess is entirely feasible. Second, Durant going to the Wizards could happen down the line, so that's not out of the ordinary either. However, Kobe Bryant is not going to be an assistant coach. That's just bizarre.
