The Las Vegas Raiders have made some solid moves this offseason. Las Vegas added playmaker to both sides of the ball and added depth at a few key positions. The Raiders will have the horses needed to make waves in Antonio Pierce's first full year as head coach. Davante Adams just wants to see the Raiders start winning.

Adams spoke with the media earlier this week and dropped some interesting quotes. One particularly noteworthy quote came after Adams was asked about Las Vegas's potential in the 2024 NFL season.

“I mean, you stop talking about potential when you're like 10 years old,” Adams said, per ESPN's Paul Gutierrez. “So, at the end of the day, it don't really matter how good we can be.”

Adams makes a good point here. It is all well and good to have potential, but teams actually have to follow through on potential to achieve any kind of success. Winning fixes everything.

This doesn't mean that Adams thinks his team is incapable of winning. In fact, he thinks they have a surprisingly dangerous offense.

“I definitely wouldn't want to put any expectations on anybody,” Adams said, “but it's no secret we've got some dangerous weapons on the team as a whole, not to mention offense.”

Las Vegas suddenly has playmakers on both sides of the ball. Davante Adams, Brock Bowers, Jakobi Meyers, and Zamir White are a solid supporting cast on offense. Maxx Crosby and Christian Wilkins will be fun to watch play together on the Raiders' defense.

Continuity is another factor working in the Raiders' favor.

“The more we get around each other, the more comfortable we are,” Adams said. “We have a pretty cohesive unit right now, and it makes coming out here a lot more fun, makes it easier.”

Davante Adams is not one to give out praise if it isn't due. That is why it is so exciting to hear him talk up teammate Brock Bowers.

The Raiders selected Bowers with the 13th overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Bowers is an explosive playmaker who can both play inline and split out as a big slot receiver. He gives Las Vegas plenty of new tricks to try on offense.

Adams recently praised the rookie tight end's work ethic.

“He is all business on the field,” Davante Adams said, via Vic Tafur of The Athletic. “He doesn't care about nothing else… He hasn't laughed at one of my jokes yet. … I have seen the tape. I know what he is about. He is a big, strong dude that is driven. Sky's the limit.”

In fact, Adams has given Bowers a nickname — “BM” for Business Man.

Brock Bowers will be a key building block moving forward for the organization. It is great to hear that he already has a professional work ethic during his rookie season.

He is sure to learn a lot more from Davante Adams during his rookie campaign.
