The Oakland Raiders are going to need all of the help they can get to combat the Houston Texans' offense. Luckily for them, running back Josh Jacobs is expected to play on Sunday per Ian Rapoport.

The rookie rusher out of Alabama injured his shoulder against the Green Bay Packers in Week 7. Jacobs went into the locker room early in the first quarter but he was able to return and finish the game.

Despite his ability to return, he still made an appearance on the team's injury report to begin the week. The team's rookie rusher was only able to practice in a limited fashion on Friday.

After giving him a questionable designation on Saturday, Jacobs is on track to suit up in Week 8. This is great news for a Raiders team who is trying to overcome their blowout loss from a week ago.

This season, Jacobs has immediately become a focal point of Jon Gruden's offense. The Raiders' 24th overall pick in this year's draft has rushed for 554 yards on 109 carries and has found the end zone four times.

Many have been calling for Jacobs to get more involved in the passing game and this could definitely be the week he does. The Texans have allowed a league-high 54 receptions and 433 receiving yards to running backs this season.

Besides Jacobs, Oakland is also getting Tyrell Williams and Trent Brown back on the field this Sunday. Williams and Brown both missed last week's game versus the Packers with lower-body injuries. The Raiders will have their starting offense intact as they hope to improve to 4-3 on the season.
