Las Vegas Raiders pass rusher Maxx Crosby has quickly skyrocketed to that of the NFL elite.

After finishing second in Rookie of the Year voting in 2019, Crosby has become a household name. Now, as he enters year four, expectations will be at an all-time high. But Crosby is adamant about keeping his eyes on the prize.

Maxx Crosby has quickly made a name for himself as a pass rusher. During his rookie year, he recorded double-digit sacks. Throughout his three professional seasons, he has tallied 25 total sacks. He has also recorded 142 total tackles and 43 tackles for loss.

Yet, even with this success, Crosby believes that there's still more to the game than just the stats.

In a recent interview with Raiders Wire, Crosby spoke about his production. He stated, “At the end of the day, it’s what you put on film. When you turn on the film, you can’t hide. That shows who the best is and who isn’t. So, at the end of the day, regardless of my numbers, it doesn’t matter to me.”

In 2021, Maxx Crosby had just eight total sacks. But that doesn't tell the whole story as he set career-highs in every other defensive category. He finished the season with 101 total pressures, which was the most in the NFL. In addition, he had 19 quarterback hits and 72 hurries. He finished the season with a PFF grade of 91.4. And a pass-rushing grade of 91.8.

Maxx Crosby will look to build on this past season. He has already joined the company of players such as TJ Watt and Myles Garrett, but he believes he can still be better. At just 24 years old, he still has a whole career in front of him. If all goes to plan, he will be a vital piece of this Raiders pass rush for a long time.
