In his first appearance as an NFL head coach, Rich Bisaccia led the Las Vegas Raiders to a much-needed victory over the Denver Broncos. Looking to put the turmoil surrounding Jon Gruden behind them, the Raiders came out swinging right from the start and never took their foot off the gas.

Especially after dominant performances from Derek Carr, Henry Ruggs III, Bryan Edwards, and Darren Waller, who lead the Raiders to an offensive outburst and a quality win against their long time division rivals. With all this going for the Raiders, let's now discuss three major takeaways from their Week 6 win over the Broncos.

Raiders Week 6 Takeaways

Derek Carr shined big in his first game playing under Rich Bisaccia

Coming off a big performance and looking to keep this going under the direction of Bisaccia, Carr put up big numbers once again and was hitting all his targets as the Raiders lit up the scoreboard on Sunday. With Carr playing under the direction of Bisaccia, the Raiders offense is going to make leaps and bounds while transitioning to an innovative new playbook.

After the offensive disruption they had on Sunday against the Broncos, the Raiders offense looks rejuvenated with Carr executing Bisaccia's play calls to perfection. Prior to their Week 7 match-up against the Eagles, the Raiders will be looking to have another big day on offense with a new leader on the Las Vegas sideline.

Henry Ruggs III looks absolutely unstoppable

Currently leading the league in yards per reception, Henry Ruggs III has been the driving force behind Las Vegas' offensive production and  paved the way for the Raiders electric receiving corps. Especially after making several big gains for the Raiders this season and coming into his own as a reliable playmaker in their exciting new offense.

With his speed, agility, and elusiveness, Ruggs III has been a nightmare cover for opposing defenders all season long and only looks to be getting better with each game he plays. As he looks to continually play at high level in the Raiders high-octane offense, Henry Ruggs III is set to continue having a Pro Bowl caliber season.

The Raiders could challenge the Chargers and Chiefs for the AFC West crown

Now that the Raiders are tied with the Chargers for the top spot in the AFC West, the race for the division title is wide open. Even though the Chiefs came up with a big win against the Washington Football team this weekend, the jury is still out on whether or not they're back to their winning ways.

So with all this happening in their quest to earn the top spot in the division, the Raiders have as a good a shot as anyone in that division. There's still a lot of football left to play and so much could change before the playoffs start, but one thing that's certain in this league is that anything could happen and Las Vegas definitely has a puncher's chance to come out victorious. Even with all the challenges that lie ahead, things are looking good for the Raiders upon their recent coaching change.
