The Los Angeles Rams have ended the Jared Goff era and brought in Matthew Stafford, and Rams wide receiver Cooper Kupp took to Instagram to share his parting thoughts on the departure of Goff.

Kupp and Goff spent four years together and he quickly became one of  Goff's favorite pass-catchers, and it seems the pair will miss each other as Goff heads to the Detroit Lions. Kupp had 974 yards and 92 catches in 2020 and had a career year in 2019 with 1,161 yards with 94 catches and 10 touchdowns, all career-highs.

While the Rams are probably better off as a team with Stafford, especially after the disappointing season Goff had, his presence will be missed by his teammates, despite the tough ending between head coach Sean McVay and the Rams organization.

Kupp's usage and numbers should definitely increase with Stafford throwing the ball, and the Rams are eager to get to work with the new signal-caller after sending Goff and multiple draft picks to Detroit.

Goff and Kupp were together for each of Kupp's four years on the Rams, and as he said he wishes “nothing but success in Detroit.”

Pro Bowl offensive tackle Andrew Whitworth's wife also took to Twitter to express their gratitude to Goff as he heads to Detroit.

It's no secret Goff was one of the most well-liked players in Los Angeles especially after they made the Super Bowl just a couple of years back. For Goff, unfortunately, his time with the Rams has come to an end, and his former teammates will surely be keeping an eye on his success going forward.
