It's official. The Jacksonville Jaguars have shipped All-Pro cornerback Jalen Ramsey across the the country to the Los Angeles Rams.

With Ramsey now a member of the NFC West franchise after recently requesting a trade from Jacksonvile, the Rams did not manage to acquire the cornerback for cheap. Los Angeles was forced to part with three future NFL Draft picks. In addition to a fourth-round pick in 2021, the Rams were also forced to send a pair of first-round picks — one in 2020 and one in 2021 — back to the Jaguars in exchange for Ramsey's services.

As a result, it hardly comes as a surprise that Ramsey quickly tweeted a photoshopped picture of him in his new Rams gear.

Leading to his eventual trade away from the Jaguars, Jalen Ramsey was seen getting into it with head coach Doug Marrone on the sideline during the team's previous matchup against the Houston Texans. While it initially appeared as though the Jaguars would try to mend the team's relationship with Ramsey, the All-Pro defensive back promptly made it clear that a trade would need to be made in the end.

“These things happen,” Marrone told reporters at the time, via The New York Post. “They happen all the time; they really do. I think now they’re a little bit more publicized, but ever since I played there’s always stuff that goes on during the course of a game. Those things occur.”

Ramsey has been nursing a lingering hamstring injury and hadn't suited up for the Jaguars in several weeks.
