Jalen Ramsey finally got his wish on Tuesday, as the Jacksonville Jaguars traded him.

The lucky winners of the Ramsey sweepstakes? The Los Angeles Rams, who sent a couple of first-round draft picks and a fourth-rounder to the Jaguars in exchange for his services.

It's a hefty price to pay, but given that Ramsey has made back-to-back Pro Bowl appearances and was named a First-Team All-Pro in 2017, the Rams feel the risk is worth the potential reward.

And even better news for Los Angeles is that it may not have to worry about Ramsey bolting in free agency after 2020, as the cornerback seems very happy in his new surroundings.

“I was so blessed to be drafted by the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2016, fifth overall pick, but now I have a new chapter starting in my life,” Ramsey said on his 17 Weeks Podcast. “Going out to L.A., going to be a part of the L.A. Rams. Excited to be a part of that defense. Coach Wade Phillips. Coach Sean McVay. Coach Aubrey Pleasant. I’m excited to get out there and do my thing for the L.A. Rams and show them that they got the best corner in the whole NFL for years and years to come.”

Ramsey spent the first three-plus years of his career with the Jaguars, helping Jacksonville reach the AFC Championship Game in his second season.

Since then, however, Ramsey's relationship with the Jags had soured, as Ramsey became irritated during contract negotiations this past offseason and got into a heated sideline confrontation with head coach Doug Marrone in Week 2.

The 24-year-old then met with Jaguars brass after the argument with Marrone and apparently felt disrespected, which led to him asking for a trade.
