Los Angeles sports franchises have made some blockbuster trades this season. After the Los Angeles Rams acquired superstar cornerback Jalen Ramsey from the Jacksonville Jaguars back in October, the Los Angeles Dodgers decided they were next up.

This week, the Boston Red Sox sent 2018 AL MVP Mookie Betts to the Dodgers in exchange for infielder Alex Verdugo.

Now both in LA, Ramsey took to Twitter to welcome Betts to his new home.

Ramsey has quickly established himself as one of the NFL's best cornerbacks in his first four seasons. The former Florida State standout has already been named to three Pro Bowls and was named as a First-Team All-Pro in 2017.

Ramsey would play nine games for the Rams this season, making eight starts. In those games, the 6-foot-1 corner posted 33 tackles, four passes defended, one interception,, and one forced fumble.

The Rams acquired Ramsey for first-round picks in 2020 and 2021 as well as a fourth-round pick in 2021.

As for the rest of the blockbuster trade for the Dodgers, the team also acquired Red Sox pitcher David Price. The Minnesota Twins were also involved in the deal and acquired starting pitcher Kenta Maeda from Los Angeles while sending pitching prospect Brusdal Graterol to Boston.

After making the Super Bowl last season, the Rams suffered from a bit of a Super Bowl hangover this season. Despite the blockbuster trade to acquire Ramsey, an All-Pro talent at the corner wasn't enough to keep the Rams from going 9-7 and missing the playoffs.

Regardless, the city of Los Angeles will undoubtedly have a stable of elite talent across its many sports franchises.
