After being traded from the Kansas City Chiefs to the Los Angeles Rams during the offseason, Marcus Peters didn't have many nice things to say about his former team. After the Rams victory over the Chiefs on Monday, Peters thoughts about his former team seemed to have changed, and he had nothing but nice things to say about his former teammates.

“I love it, man,” Peters said, via a transcript provided by the team via Pro Football Talk. “The best thing about this is that I got to see my teammates and I got to see my old coaches and stuff. I miss those guys. Really, honestly, I miss those guys. When you’re a part of an organization like that and you go in and you’re a part of the locker room, you understand how it feels to be around some people, but you still have love for them. I wish those guys nothing but success.”

Peters has had his fair share of struggles this year, but he came up big on Monday Night Football. He did a good job of locking down Travis Kelce late in the 4th quarter and had an interception late in the game that went a long ways in the Rams coming out with a victory.

The Chiefs and Rams matched either punch for punch in one of the best football games in years. If everything goes according to each teams plan, they will be facing each other in February in the Super Bowl, and Peters will get a chance to see his former teammates again.
