The Atlanta Falcons are having a rough season to put it lightly. Coming off of a 34-33 loss to the Arizona Cardinals after a missed PAT, Atlanta is currently 1-5. However, many will talk about how they're better than what their record shows. One of those people is Los Angeles Rams head coach Sean McVay.

He not only believes that this team is better than their record but still a very dangerous team.

“I think the record is really misleading. I think when you look at them [they are a] really really good football team that has had some unfortunate breaks towards the end of the games, and they’ve played some tough teams.”

McVay is someone that's aware of not only the team's explosive offense, but a defense that's fairly underrated as well.

“You look at the offense, a lot of firepower. You have an MVP player leading the way in Matt Ryan and then you’ve got Julio [Jones]. I mean, [Austin] Hooper is playing unbelievable. I think [Calvin] Ridley and [Mohamed] Sanu are two of the more underrated receivers in this league, and I’ve always been impressed with what Devonta [Freeman] does.

“Defensively, a lot of speed. A lot of sound play on all three levels. I think you’ve seen McKinley do a great job. Obviously, you certainly feel Grady Jarrett. And then Deion Jones I think is one of the best linebackers in this league with his ability to play sideline-to-sideline.”

McVay isn't short on praise for his opponents, who've been one of the bigger disappointments in the league thus far.

However, McVay will be hoping the Falcons don't prove him right this week. After three losses in a row, McVay and the Rams are every bit as in need of a win as the Falcons.
