Danny Green had high praise for the effort put forth by Kyle Lowry in Wednesday night's 113-109 victory in Game 3 of the NBA Finals.

Lowry struggled to find a rhythm in Game 2, but he bounced back in a big way. The former Villanova standout played 43 minutes, scoring 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting from the field (5-of-9 from beyond the arc), nine assists, four rebounds, one block and one steal. He also finished with a perfect mark from the free-throw line (2-for-2) and had a true plus/minus score of +14.

As a team, the Raptors went 52.4 percent from the field and made 17 threes. All five starters finished with double digits in the scoring column, and Fred VanVleet added 11 points off the bench.

The Warriors, who were without the services of several key players due to injuries, were led by Stephen Curry's playoff-best 47 points. He had 17 points in the first quarter alone. In the end, though, his effort wasn't enough on its own. Each time Golden State made a run, the Raptors had an answer.

“I give our guys a lot of credit. I thought we answered a lot of runs,” Raptors coach Nick Nurse told ESPN after Game 3. “Each time they chipped, we kind of answered back. And that's kind of what you got to do if you're going to keep your lead.”

The Raptors and Warriors will meet for Game 4 on Friday night. Tip-off inside Oracle Arena is set for 9:00 p.m. ET, with ABC having live broadcast coverage.
