The Toronto Raptors continued their hot streak on Monday as they beat the New York Knicks at MSG to collect a fourth-straight victory. Leading the way was OG Anunoby, who erupted for a team and career-high 36 points.

His performance drew a simple yet powerful response from Fred VanVleet, who was very impressed with his Raptors teammate:

Indeed, Anunoby was on fire. He also shot 48% from the field and collected six rebounds. As for VanVleet, he had 17 points and eight dimes. So far this season, Anunoby has taken a big jump. He's averaging 20.3 points and 5.6 rebounds per game and is proving to be one of the Raptors' most important offensive weapons.

Not only was he scoring at will, but the Brit also contained the Knicks' best player in Julius Randle, forcing him to commit three turnovers in the first quarter and shot just 2 for 8 from the field as Toronto got off to a quick start. The confidence that Anunoby showed on both sides of the ball was evident, taking a total of 27 shots from every spot imaginable on the floor.

The Raptors might be young, but they're showing real promise early on. Anunoby and VanVleet will surely be key pieces to their success in 2021/22, along with the growth of rookie Scottie Barnes.
