As expected, Toronto Raptors forward Kawhi Leonard has been unbothered by the recent storylines surrounding his free agency, as the L.A. Clippers have visibly made a strong push to be the main franchise vying for his services this offseason.

The Klaw has kept his tunnel vision coming into this season

“I focus on what we’re doing,” Leonard said prior to the Raptors knocking off the Clippers Tuesday night (without him due to a sore hip), according to Kurt Helin of Yahoo Sports. “I don’t buy into reading media, don’t have no social media, so just focus on what’s in front of me. At that time it’s either my family or playing basketball.”

The Clippers' intentions to snatch him as their key free agent target has not only made headline nation-wide, but segments in sports shows and even podcasts dedicated to the what if of this situation.

Kawhi Leonard's camp has been vocal about his desire to come to his native Los Angeles, and his disinterest in teaming up with LeBron James has also been noted through several sources. Yet the MVP candidate has effectively tuned out all of the outside noise, unbothered by the chatter surrounding his future.

“Not at all. I don’t watch TV too much,” Leonard said, noting he uses apps to watch the movies and TV shows of his preference.

The Raptors have done well with him in or out of the lineup, and this freight-train with laser-focused mentality has helped his team to the best record in the league, standing at 23-7 through this early stretch of the season.
