As expected, Toronto Raptors point guard Kyle Lowry won't play against the Brooklyn Nets on Saturday.

Lowry suffered whiplash when he collided with teammate Serge Ibaka in the third quarter of the Raptors' game against the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

The Raptors defeated the Pacers for their 13th straight win on Friday. Lowry scored 16 points before exiting. He surpassed former Toronto star and current Atlanta Hawks forward Vince Carter for third place on the all time Toronto scoring list.

Lowry and the Raptors are 38-14 on the season, good for second place in the Eastern Conference standings. It's worth noting, however, that they are only one and a half game ahead of the third-seeded Boston Celtics.

On the season, Lowry is averaging 19.6 points, 4.5 rebounds and 7.4 assists while shooting 41.9 percent from the field, 34.9 percent from beyond the arc and 85.9 percent from the free-throw line. The 33-year-old guard was named as an All-Star at the upcoming All-Star festivities in Chicago alongside teammate Pascal Siakam.

Hopefully, Lowry won't miss a lot of time with his latest injury.
