Veteran center Marc Gasol is still trying to find his groove with the Toronto Raptors and doesn't want to force the issue.

Gasol has played in 13 games with the Raptors. The team is 9-4 since acquiring the All-Star from the Memphis Grizzlies.

However, Gasol hasn't looked that comfortable with the Raptors. The 34 year old says he is still adjusting to his new environment.

“It’s an adjustment,” Gasol said, via Arden Zwelling of Sports Net. “I think it’s an adjustment for me, an adjustment for my teammates, for the coaches. You know, you play a certain way and it’s hard to change certain things on the fly.

“But you can’t try to force the issue. You have to organically improve and I’m here to work and do my best with a very positive mindset every day. It’s about what’s best for the team and how we can take another step at both ends of the floor.”

Gasol is averaging 9.4 points, 6.2 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game with the Raptors while shooting 45.7 percent from the field and 33.3 percent from beyond the arc.

The former Defensive Player of the Year has started six games and come off the bench in the other games. For Toronto to go on a deep playoff run, they will need Gasol to find his rhythm.
