Toronto Raptors big man Serge Ibaka will miss his eighth straight game on Monday against the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ibaka is still recovering from a sprained right ankle. Raptors head coach Nick Nurse says Ibaka may be able to play this upcoming weekend after Thanksgiving.

The Raptors are 11-4 on the season, good for second place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Ibaka is averaging 14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds and 1.3 blocks in eight games this season for the Raptors. He's shooting 52.4 percent from the field, 31.3 percent from beyond the arc and 82.6 percent from the free-throw line.

Along with Ibaka, the Raptors are still without point guard Kyle Lowry. He sustained a fracture of the distal phalanx of his left thumb back on Nov. 8 against the New Orleans Pelicans.

Lowry played in eight games this season for the Raptors before getting hurt. He is averaging 21.8 points, 4.3 rebounds and 6.5 assists while shooting 47.8 percent from the floor, 42.6 percent from beyond the arc and 88.1 percent from the free-throw line.

It's impressive the Raptors have been able to secure the second best record in the East despite Lowry and Ibaka being sidelined. It points to how special of a player Pascal Siakam is. He's putting up 25.7 points per game on the season and is well on his way to making his first All-Star game.
