The Baltimore Ravens defense didn't hold up on Sunday. Against the Cleveland Browns, the unit allowed 530 yards, 22 first down conversions, five touchdowns (to one turnover) and an average of 8.7 average gain. In culmination, they lost 40-25.

For cornerback Marlon Humphrey, answers to their questions will hopefully be brought to light in a heart-to-heart meeting.

“We’ll have a coming-to-heart meeting Monday or Tuesday. We have to know what we’re doing wrong and what we’re doing right. Not a lot is being done right lately,” said Humphrey after the game, via Jamison Hensley of ESPN.

Sunday's outing was the second straight week the Ravens allowed 500+ yards, the first time they've done so in franchise history. Against the Kansas City Chiefs in Week 3, they allowed 503, 27 first down conversions, four touchdowns and an 8.0 average gain. They ultimately lost 33-28.

As Ravens safety Tony Jefferson says it, the defensive performance was “disgusting,” per Ryan Mink of the team's official website.

Said coach John Harbaugh after the game:

“We just got to clean it up and guys do their job. Simple as that. Gap control, responsibility on the run play, you got to be there. The coverage responsibility, you got to do it. It's as simple as that. We're not disciplined right now in that sense. We don't do our assignment the way we are supposed to too many times and it's cost us big plays.”

Next week, the Ravens will face the currently 0-3 Steelers.

Their defense has an opportunity to meet an offense that's been anything but inspiring since Ben Roethlisberger went down for the season.
