Steve Novak has journeyed around the NBA throughout his career, playing for nine franchises since coming into the association in 2006. However, after joining the Milwaukee Bucks last year, Novak has no intentions of moving once again.

While not currently under contract, Frank Madden of SB Nation's Brew Hoop mentioned that Novak has still been heavily involved in Milwaukee's offseason programs. The former part of the last sentence going to change very soon.

Novak on re-signing with the Bucks, from The Big Show on 105.7 FM:

“We’re having good conversations, and right now I think we’re just waiting pretty much for some of the medical staff to be back in town for physicals and stuff like that, and then we’ll make it official. So we’re getting close.”

Given Milwaukee's struggles from outside with their core players, keeping Novak will be vital to their ability to stretch the floor. Steve has compiled an incredible 43.1 percent career average from beyond the arc, making him the sixth most accurate three-point shooter in the history of the league.

Of course, last season they didn't get to see much of him. Novak signed with the Bucks after being waived by the Oklahoma City Thunder, but a MCL strain ended his season after just three games. If he can stay on the floor this year, Novak's presence could play a role in the Bucks getting back to the postseason.
