The “Jet” has landed and this time he's in the city of Milwaukee. Jason Terry was inked to a one-year deal with the Bucks after being cut by the Houston Rockets.

Terry will wear number 3, since his usual number 31 belongs to John Henson, according to Jim Paschke.

The 18-year NBA veteran will bring shooting and veteran leadership, as head coach Jason Kidd told Sports Illustrated:

“He’s a true pro on and off the court. Off the bench for sure he will help us with his knowledge. And I think he has some gas left.” —Jason Kidd

After spending the past two seasons with the Rockets, it's yet to be seen if the “Jet” has any fuel left in his legs.

The signing could prove significant, as other players at his combo guard position often struggle to shoot in Milwaukee, namely Michael Carter-Williams and Jared Cunningham.

His marksman-like shooting and ability to deliver buckets in the clutch could be an X-factor for the Bucks. Terry is capable of providing a scoring punch off the bench and even a support role with the starting unit, if called upon.

Terry spent five seasons with the Atlanta Hawks before carving a niche as a perennial sixth man for the next eight years with the Dallas Mavericks.

Ever since, the University of Arizona alum has become somewhat of an NBA journeyman, playing for three different teams in his last four seasons.

Terry has career averages of 14.3 points, 4.1 assists, and 2.4 rebounds.
