Reportedly, people within National Football League circles are a bit perplexed with the Green Bay Packers yet again placing Aaron Rodgers on IR.

Here is where things get a bit sketchy, as this seems like a lot of whining from other NFL folk. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that multiple teams have complained about the re-placement of Rodgers on injured reserve. These people are basically arguing that he didn’t suffer a new injury against the Panthers, following his return from IR.

For starters, and while the Packers never announced a “new” injury, this is incredibly hard to prove. More importantly, Rodgers came back in a hurry to help Green Bay in the team's last ditch effort to make the playoffs.

The latter aspect is the most important, as the franchise could easily just say he wasn't 100 percent upon return, and now that it can't make the playoffs, they felt it best he get fully recovered.

Either way, this is slightly infuriating, if we are to be honest.

The NFL wants to make the league safer, and a bunch of owners and front-office people swear they are on board with that, but then file complaints about the Packers placing a non-fully healthy dude on IR?

Back the truck up.
