Christian Wood had another monster performance on Thursday to give the Houston Rockets a big 109-105 win over the San Antonio Spurs. The 25-year old finished with a team-high of 27 points, 15 rebounds, and even knocked down five threes.

Wood has been on quite a journey so far in the NBA. He's been waived, cut, and moved several times in his five years in the league but he's looking to silence all the doubters with a stellar stint so far in Houston.

Just as Wood was explaining to Charles Barkley and the rest of the NBA on TNT crew how tired he was of being cut, teammate Sterling Brown just cut him off as he tried to express his excitement for his new center. Brown gave Wood a friendly post-game tap on the head which eventually dropped the headphones Wood was wearing. Brown did do him the favor of handing him the headphones back. Good thing the audio equipment stayed intact and Wood was able to finish his interview.

“The headphones might be broke ya'll, I don't know if you guys can hear me.” Wood said as everyone laughed (via NBA on TNT).

Wood has been a revelation so far this season for the Rockets and the front office betting on him this off-season is slowly paying off. His 27-15 line is already his fifth 20 and 10 evening this season and he's looking like an early candidate to win this year's MIP award. After moving from team to team and having several stints in the G-League, Wood finally found a home in Houston and is certainly looking locked in.

Just please let the man finish his interview.
