Houston Rockets star shooting guard James Harden needs just four more games of at least 30 points and 10 assists to pass Los Angeles Lakers superstar small forward LeBron James for most such games since 1983, according to Basketball Reference.
James has recorded 77 games of 30-plus points and 10-plus assists during his legendary career. Harden registered his 74th game of that stat line on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks.

If someone told you James Harden was going to be a first-ballot Hall of Famer back in 2012 when the Oklahoma City Thunder traded him to the Rockets, you might have rolled your eyes.
There's no debating that now, though. The reigning MVP is one of the most lethal scorers in NBA history and makes the game of basketball look way too easy.
In 67 games this season for the Rockets, Harden is averaging 35.8 points, 6.4 rebounds and 7.7 assists per contest. The seven-time All-Star is shooting 43.5 percent from the field, 35.5 percent from beyond the arc and 87.7 percent from the free-throw line.
Harden has 29 double-doubles and six triple-doubles on the season. The Beard has single-handedly brought the Rockets from the bottom of the Western Conference standings to the top.
Houston is 45-26 on the season, which is good for third place in the West.
