Michael Pittman just produced the best performance of his career with the Indianapolis Colts on Thursday night versus the Tennessee Titans. Following Pittman's impressive outing on Thursday night, Frank Reich believes the rookie wideout runs with conviction with the ball in his hands.

While the Colts would defeat the Titans by double digits, Pittman led the offense with 101 receiving yards on seven receptions. Amid logging his career-highs in receptions and receiving yards, Pittman dealt punishment to defenders by seeking contact after catching the ball.

Coming out of USC, Pittman was a physical pass-catcher that excelled at catching contested passes. He was also a tough player to tackle due to him being a bigger-bodied wideout at 6-foot-4, 223 pounds.

Plus, Pittman has a football lineage with his father, Michael Pittman Sr. playing running back in the NFL. Given his father's skillset as a running back, it shouldn't come as a surprise that the first-year wide receiver loves to run with the ball in his hands.

Up to this point in the season, Pittman may not have the numbers that other rookie wide receivers have. However, it's important to note that the former Trojan is playing in a run-heavy offense that has an aging Philip Rivers under center.

Even though he hasn't scored a touchdown yet, Pittman has caught 21 passes for 236 yards. He's only played in six games for the Colts this season due to an injury earlier in the year.

After seeing what he's capable of doing in Week 10, Reich will likely configure more plays that give Pittman a chance to create with the ball in his possession.
