At the premiere of The Fall Guy, Ryan Gosling revived his recent SNL (Saturday Night Live) bit with Beavis and Butt-Head.

On the red carpet for The Fall Guy, Gosling originally appeared in a light blue suit. He then disappeared for a few minutes before resurfacing with SNL's Mikey Day. The two were playing Beavis and Butt-Head, roles they played on the episode Gosling hosted on April 13.

The two even crashed an interview that Emily Blunt was doing on the red carpet. As she was being interviewed by Discussing Film, Gosling and Day interrupted her and complimented her film Salmon Fishing in Yemen.

Beavis and Butt-Head is a famous animated comedy series created by Mike Judge. He also voices both of the title roles in the series. The first seven seasons of Beavis and Butt-Head aired on MTV from 1993-97. In 2011, it was first revived by MTV for an eighth season.

However, after the second feature film in the franchise revived the series, a ninth season premiered on Paramount+ on August 4, 2022.

The Fall Guy is the latest film from David Leitch (Atomic Blonde, Deadpool 2). It follows a stuntman, Colt Seavers (Gosling), who has his career derailed after a gruesome injury. He leaves his career and girlfriend, Jody Moreno (Emily Blunt) behind.

She moves on and becomes a director. She ends up hiring Colt to be a stuntman on her directorial debut. However, the two get looped into an adventure when the star of the film goes missing. Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, Winston Duke, and Stephanie Hsu also star in the film.

The film is loosely based on Glen A. Larson's TV series of the same name. Drew Pearce, who previously wrote Fast and Furious Presents: Hobbs and Shaw for Leitch, re-teamed with the director to write the film.

The Fall Guy premiered at the 2024 SXSW (South by Southwest) festival on March 12. Universal Pictures will release the film on May 3.
