Taysom Hill has been the all-around guy for the New Orleans Saints over the past couple of seasons, so there's no question that the team will be looking to re-up his contract. Sean Payton thinks that the undrafted quarterback will definitely get an offer, but he is unsure if the Saints will be the first to offer him a contract.

The Saints' head coach thinks they have a strong chance of tying him down to a new contract. However, Hill's versatility will make him an attractive option to chase for other teams in the league. He wouldn't be surprised if a team tries to pry the restricted free agent away from their grasp.

Via Pro Football Talk's Mike Florio:

“I think someone is going to make him an offer,” coach Sean Payton recently told Peter King of Football Morning in America. “But the first thing the fan has to understand is . . . if we tender Taysom [at the first-round level], the team that makes the offer on him and signs him to an offer understands they’re going to give up a first-round pick if we don’t match. That’s easier to do if you’re pick 22, 23, 24, 25. We might very well see it if it’s a team in the second half of the [first round].”

Hill was everywhere on the offense last season. The Brigham Young alum was mainly used as a wide receiver and tight end, notching  234 receiving yards and six touchdowns on 19 receptions. He also had 156 rushing yards and one rushing TD as well as 55 passing yards.

He's an important cog for Payton's offense, and he would do a lot in order to keep him with the team.
