Seattle Seahawks defensive end, Frank Clark, sent a tweet Tuesday night that alluded he played most of the 2018-2019 season not one hundred percent healthy.

The tweet, sent from his personal account, stated this:

“I wouldn’t lie to you guys. I played the whole season at 60%”.

The four-year pro played and started in all 16 games this year, as well as the playoff matchup against the Dallas Cowboys, which knocked the Seahawks out of the playoffs.

This season Clark had 41 combined tackles and 13 sacks, which led the Seahawks, and he was tied for 5th in the NFL for the most sacks, among the group he tied with was: Kansas City Chiefs linebacker Dee Ford, Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt, and Tampa Bay Buccaneers defensive end Jason Pierre-Paul.

The Seahawks finished sixth in the NFL in tackles and sacks, much in part to Clark’s help this season.

With the Seahawks season over with, the medical examiner will play a key role in getting the star defensive end back to one hundred percent healthy before the start of the 2019-2020 NFL season.

Seattle finished second in the NFC West, and bolstered a 10-6 record which helped get them into a Wild Card matchup where they fell to the Cowboys.

One question is lingering: if Frank Clark played at 100 percent for the entire season, how well would have he and the Seattle Seahawks performed this season?

Hopefully, we will be able to see the answer to that in the 2019-2020 season.
