The Seattle Seahawks were able to enter their Week 11 bye on a high note with a clutch win over the San Francisco 49ers. Head coach Pete Carroll is hoping the extra time off will allow him to get back on the field before their next game.

Lockett was taken to a hospital with a lower leg contusion following the 27-24 overtime victory in San Francisco. According to ESPN's Brady Henderson, Carroll does not expect him to miss significant time:

Pete Carroll says the plan is for Tyler Lockett to stay another night at Stanford hospital due to his leg bruise. Carroll still thinks Lockett won't miss any games. Seattle has a bye this week.

The fact that Lockett has been forced to recover in a hospital was certainly cause for concern. Fortunately, Carroll's comments indicate that the injury is not deemed to be too severe and the extra week of rest should go a long way in his recovery by the time Week 12 rolls around.

Tyler Lockett has easily established himself as perhaps the most underrated receiver in the league. He has managed to pick up right where he left off during a breakout 2018 campaign with 62 receptions for 792 yards and six touchdowns in the 2019 NFL season. Despite his modest numbers against the 49ers, he still played an integral role in handing them their first loss of the year.

Seattle will likely be taking a cautious approach with his recovery before officially determining he is good to go against the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12.
