After being involved in a myriad of off-field issues, All-Pro wide receiver Antonio Brown has yet to find a new home. His latest stint came with the New England Patriots in which he made a lone game appearance. After a year's absence in the league, Brown is now being linked to the Seattle Seahawks as a potential suitor.

Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll chimed in on the team's stance on the situation as per the Pro Football Talk featured in NBC Sports:

Carroll said General Manager John Schneider is “all over it” and indicated that the team is open to the possibility even if it isn’t rushing to seal a deal right away.

“It’s a very complex situation. We just need to see how it fits somewhere down the road. That’s all I got for you,” Carroll said.

Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has reportedly been lobbying for the team to sign the former Central Michigan product for the upcoming season. However, that has been all talk as no deal ever came to fruition for the two sides.

Fortunately for Brown, several players have already opted out on playing in the upcoming season due to concerns for the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. A team left with gaping holes to fill in its rotation may take a look at the possibility of bringing him in.

Antonio Brown's eight-game suspension heading into the season remains to be a concern for interested teams. Developments on the seven-time Pro Bowler's situation is definitely something to keep an eye on for the weeks to come.
