One of the newest Seattle Seahawks draft picks has a name that will make just about everyone do a double-take. With their fourth-round pick, at 109 overall, the Seahawks selected Cincinnati cornerback Coby Bryant, looking to buff up the secondary. Of course, it's impossible not to see the connection to the late Lakers legend Kobe Bryant, and Seattle DB Quandre Diggs couldn't help but drop a little jab at his new teammate when welcoming him to the squad. Via Twitter, Diggs welcomed Bryant to Seattle before jokingly declaring that LeBron James was the GOAT.

Diggs couldn't help but make a joke about Bryant's name upon welcoming his new secondary-mate to the team. Having the name Coby Bryant is bound to draw references to the Lakers legend, and it only took a matter of minutes before one of his new Seahawks comrades took a friendly jab in his direction.

Bryant played five seasons at Cincinnati, recording 170 tackles, 9 interceptions, 35 pass defenses, and 5.0 tackles for loss. In his last year as a Bearcat, the cornerback logged 44 tackles, 2 interceptions, and a career-high 11 pass defenses while playing opposite No. 4 overall pick Sauce Gardner.

Bryant will be a welcome addition to the Seahawks' secondary and could stand to see playing opportunities early on in the season. Seattle had one of the worst defenses in the league last year, so perhaps Bryant will bring forth some of his own Mamba Mentality and help revitalize a unit that was once one of the most feared defenses in the league.
