In his much-anticipated return from a stint on injured reserve, quarterback Russell Wilson posted one lowly performance in the Seattle Seahawks' 17-0 loss to the Green Bay Packers in Week 10.
Rust concerns for Wilson were a talking point heading into this game, considering that he missed the Seahawks' last three games after suffering a ruptured tendon in his right middle finger. And as was showcased over the course of the game, he had a difficult time getting into a groove.
Wilson recorded 161 passing yards and posted a 39.7 passer rating against the Packers. More so, this was the first game of his season where he failed to record a passing touchdown, as he instead threw a pair of costly interceptions.
This 17-0 loss for the Seahawks is also the first time in Wilson’s 10-year career that he has been shut out.
Russell Wilson was shut out for the first time in his NFL career (166 career starts, including playoffs).

The Seahawks now sit near the bottom of the NFC standings with a 3-6 record, which is quite a surprise for a team that was being tabbed by many ahead of the season as a dark horse contender to make a push to the NFC championship game.
There is still plenty of time for the Seahawks to turn their season around, but they sure are in dire need of a winning streak to get themselves back into the NFC playoff picture.
